Did you know that The National Museum has a collection of more than 350,000 fossils of which about 700 of these belong to our ancient human ancestors? All these fossils were discovered and excavated at the over 100 archealogical sites distributed all over Kenya.

After an exciting and informative short guided tour of the two sections of the Nairobi National Museum, we shall depart for the incredible Olorgesailie Prehistoric Site. You will also have the opportunity to grab a snack and drink at the museum coffee shop if need be before we depart. We shall take the more scenic route that goes through Ngong Hills which was prominently featured in the movie "Out of Africa"

We shall stop at designated rest stop along the Great Rift Valley escarpment in`order to capture the magnificent scenic shots. We anticipate to arrive early afternoon for our guided tour of the Olorgesailie Prehistoric site. Did you know that the site is most noted for its extensive collection of Acheulean Stone tools as well as the single largest assemblage of hand axes world wide?
