This thrilling and comprehensive 21 days 20 nights Kenya luxury safari will take you to Kenya's most evocative parks where you are highly likely to see the Big Five as well as enjoy one of our internationally recognized coastal beach of Watamu. Samburu will offer its unspoiled and untouched wilderness while at Ol Pejeta; you will visit the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees as well as the endangered black and white rhino while Masai Mara will delight you with its spectacular wildlife. It is bound to be magical. This is a Private Safari where you will have exclusive use of our Custom Safari 4x4 Land Cruiser jeep while in the wilderness.
 
Day 1: Welcome To Nairobi, Safari Capital of the World
 
You will be greeted at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by your personal Expedition Kenya Safari VIP Service Ambassador  followed by leisurely transfer to Sarova Panafric Hotel. This will be the perfect place to unwind and relax in readiness for the beginning of your super exciting safari the following day.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve "Where Nature Defies Itself"
 
Have an early morning breakfast and then early departure(7:30 AM)  towards Samburu National Reserve. The scenic drive will take us through the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya and across the equator. Our first major rest stop depending on time will be along the section where the equator line passes through. This is a great photographic opportunity to have and to show friends back home. We anticipate to arrive for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge located inside the Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya. Samburu Sopa lodge is built atop high ground allowing panaromic views of the vastness of Samburu shrub land and the hills beyond.
 
Our afternoon game drive is from 4 pm in our custom 4x4 Land Cruiser jeep with a pop up roof for easy 360 degree game viewing. You will have exclusive use of our Land Cruiser without mixing with strangers for the entire safari.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve "Home Of The Special Five"
 
Today you have a full day in Samburu, with an early morning and afternoon game drive in search of the so called "Special Five" or "Northern Five" that are only found specific to this region north of the equator. The "Special Five" include the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, and the Gerenuk.
 
The reserve is also home to the big cats namely the lion, leopard, and cheetah. It will be fun to note that the elephants exhibit a special reddish color at Samburu from dust bathing in the red soil that is characteristic of Samburu. Did you also know that the Samburu skies offer the best opportunity for Star Gazing? A tour of the Samburu would not be complete without visiting an authentic Samburu Village. The visit is complimentary at no extra charge.

Day 4: Aberdare National Park
 
Early morning breakfast followed by leisurely drive towards Aberdare National Park to arrive in time for lunch at Outspan Hotel Nyeri. The ambiance of the restaurant and the view is simply breathtaking. The name Outspan was suggested by a certain Grace Barry after the then owner Major Walker offered a bottle of champagne prize to the person who came up with the best name.
 
The place is rich with history. Afternoon transfer to the lodge across the Aberdare National Park to Treetops will follow later on. Treetops Lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick that attracts various wildlife especially elephants that come to either drink, bath or forage. Viewing decks, balconies and lounges are available for a spectacular night of viewing. Dinner and overnight at Treetops Lodge.

Day 5Ol Pejeta Conservancy Largest Black Rhino Sanctuary

Today will be another exciting day of our safari and after an early morning breakfast, we will depart Samburu and head for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and home to Two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino. We anticipate to arrive in time for lunch at the exclusive Sweetwaters Serena Luxury camp located inside the conservancy and overlooking a water hole that is a center of activity for some of the wildlife that come to quench their thirst.
 
*Sudan passed away around March 2018 at the age of 45. He was unable to stand and suffered from a string of infections. He is survived by his daughter Najin and grand daughter Fatu. Suni who was Sudan's buddy, passed away in 2014. They had been relocated from a zoo in Czech republic in 2009.
 
Our afternoon Game Drive will start from 4 pm. This should be super exciting since the conservancy has a higher wildlife to area ratio than any of the Kenya National Parks.

Day 6Ol Pejeta Conservancy Largest Black Rhino Sanctuary
 
We shall enjoy a one of a kind full day at Ol Pejeta Conservancy with two exciting game drives scheduled in the morning and the afternoon. This is a beautiful private conservancy  and home to rare species such as Beisa oryx, Rothschild's giraffe and black rhino as well as the last remaining 3 Northern White Rhinos in the World! Game drives here reveal the full range of African wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and elephant.
 
Other exciting activities we have scheduled for you include, a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we get to learn about their rescue stories as well as visit Baraka the Black Rhino

Day 7: Lake Nakuru Ornithological Paradise
 
After early morning breakfast we shall depart towards Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive is very scenic as we will be going through the Great Rift Valley. We anticipate to arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge located on the best vantage point overlooking the park and lake.

After lunch we shall proceed with our afternoon game drive from 4 pm. Lake Nakuru is the ultimate ornithologist's paradise with numerous species of birds and is best known for its numerous Pink Flamingos. However due to fluctuating water levels, sightings have been sporadic if any!

The park was also the first Rhino Sanctuary and offers the best opportunity to come across the rare Black and White Rhino. Among the predators we hope to come across are the lions and the elusive leopard. The park also boasts the biggest Euphorbia Forest in Africa.

Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve "Africa's Wildlife Crown Jewel"
 
Early Morning breakfast followed departure to the World famous Maasai Mara National Reserve famous for its spectacular wildlife and the Maasai people.
 
We anticipate to arrive in time for lunch at Mara Leisure Camp set in what is considered Kenya's prime wildlife area, along the Talek River, at the confluence of the Masai Mara's four wildlife viewing areas, on the northern boundary of the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
 
Our exciting afternoon game drive is scheduled from 4 pm and we anticipate wonderful surprises in store for us courtesy of the Mara wildlife.

Day 9: Masai Mara Game Reserve "Africa's Wildlife Crown Jewel"
 
Today we anticipate to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity in the Mara whereby you will enjoy a Hot Air Balloon Safari. Wake up call at dawn followed by coffee or tea refreshments after which you will be transferred to the launching site.
 
Your hot air balloon ride lasts about one hour, but your experience lasts a lifetime. After landing, the ground crew helps you out of the basket and escorts you to a lovely setting for a bush breakfast. A customary champagne toast celebrates not only your experience, but also the incredible beauty that you discover during your superb dream vacation in Africa.
 
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Mara Leisure camp. The rest of the morning and afternoon before our afternoon game drive is spent at leisure where you can explore the various camp amenities such as the pool.
 
The afternoon game drive will be from 4 pm where we once more go to explore the wildlife and scenery of the Mara that never ceases to amaze.

Day 10: Masai Mara Game Reserve "Africa's Wildlife Crown Jewel"
 
Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game reserve where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five. Game drives are flexible, and today we will depart with our Safari Picnic Lunch Boxes to spend the entire day in the wilderness. You will experience a once in a lifetime opportunity of dining in the African wild. Today we will also pay a visit to an authentic Maasai Village where you will get a first hand experience on the intriguing lifestyles of the Maasai men, women and children.

Day 11: Watamu Beach

Today will be our last day in the Majestic Mara and you will enjoy an early morning short game drive followed by breakfast. Today is also extra special as we will be flying to Watamu Beach via Nairobi where you will spend the next 8 nights relaxing and unwinding on the beautiful white sand beach.
 
Check out time is 10 am.
 
Since our flight is scheduled to depart at 11:15 am  from the nearby Keekorok Airstrip, we have arranged for you to take picnic lunch boxes. Transfer from Mara Leisure to Keekorok airstrip will be from 10:30 am for your departing flight with Mombasa Air Safari.
 
This flight is scheduled to arrive at Nairobi Wilson Airport at 12:15 pm after which you will depart at 2 pm for Malindi Airport via Air Kenya.
 
Kindly note that local domestic flights are in very high demand during this time of the year and hence require 90 days in advance booking.
 
Please note that baggage is restricted to only 15 kgs Per Person in soft bags and not suitcases. We will be more than happy to have our Driver Guide bring back any extra luggage back to Nairobi for safe storage. We will bring the luggage with us when we pick you up from Wilson Airport.
 
Arrival at Malindi Airport is approximately 4:00 pm after which you will be met by a representative of Seven Islands Resort followed by short transfer to the resort for check in.

After a relaxing and fun filled experience along the coast of Kenya, we shall say goodbye to Watamu Beach. Check out will be after breakfast and we have scheduled a complimentary airport transfer from the resort to Malindi Airport.
 
Departure is scheduled at 4:30 pm from Malindi Airport via Air Kenya. We anticipate for you to arrive at Wilson Airport Nairobi by 5:35 pm. You will be met by our representative followed by transfer to Sarova Panafric Hotel.

Day 20: Nairobi Day Excursion
 
Today will be quite a fun filled day as we explore top attractions that are a must see while in Nairobi.
 
Morning breakfast followed by departure towards Giraffe Center Nairobi to arrive by 9 am. Here you will be able to experience a rare one on one unique interactive giraffe feeding experience. Very exciting place as this place has a program for breeding the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.
 
After an exciting Giraffe Center visit, we shall proceed to David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to arrive by 10:45 am. Here you get introduced to the various rescued orphans plus their history. You will also get the opportunity to view and photograph the adorable and playful baby elephants. If you are lucky, you might get to touch one.
 
Delicious lunch will follow at the famous Carnivore Restaurant at around 1:00 pm where you will enjoy skewers of game meat as well as regular meat accompanied by delicious side dishes and sauces.
 
At around 3:00 pm we shall head to the Bomas Of Kenya where you will enjoy exciting performances of different traditional dances representing the various ethnic communities of Kenya. After a super exciting Nairobi Day Tour Excursion, we shall head back to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
