Itinerary
Embark on an unforgettable 11-day Namibia Safari showcasing the country’s most spectacular highlights. Journey from the red dunes of Sossusvlei and the wild Skeleton Coast to the dramatic landscapes of Damaraland and the wildlife haven of Etosha National Park. Upon arrival in Windhoek, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide and provided with your detailed travel documents. If time allows, enjoy a short city tour of Namibia’s charming capital to explore its history and culture.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your leisure, settling into the rhythm of your safari adventure. In the evening, head into town to dine at one of Windhoek’s popular restaurants and experience a taste of authentic Namibian cuisine.

After breakfast in Windhoek, enjoy a quick stop in town for any last-minute essentials before departing south toward Sossusvlei, your base for the next two nights. The scenic drive takes you via either the stunning Spreetshoogte or Remhoogte Pass, offering spectacular views of Namibia’s vast desert landscapes.
The following morning, rise early for an unforgettable adventure in the Namib Desert. Enter through the Sesriem Gate to explore the breathtaking Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, Dune 45, Big Daddy, Elim Dune, and the Sesriem Canyon. Enjoy lunch back at your lodge or savor a picnic among the dunes before returning for a relaxing evening.
Optional activities include a hot air balloon safari over the Namib Desert or guided nature drives for a closer look at the desert’s unique wildlife.

After breakfast, depart Sossusvlei and travel north through Solitaire, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn and passing the scenic Gaub and Kuiseb Canyons en route to the coast. Enjoy a stunning drive across the Namib Gravel Plains to reach Swakopmund, either via Walvis Bay or the recommended detour through Ganab, the Welwitschia Plains, and the striking Moon Landscape.
Spend a full day exploring Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, known for their exciting Skeleton Coast adventures. Optional activities include a dolphin cruise, Sandwich Harbour excursion, quad biking, sandboarding, or sea kayaking. In the evening, unwind and enjoy fresh seafood at one of Swakopmund’s seaside restaurants.

Travel north along the Skeleton Coast via Henties Bay to visit the incredible Cape Cross Seal Colony, one of the largest in the world. En route, stop to admire the Lichen Fields and an old shipwreck near the colorful coastal town of Wlotskasbaken. Continue inland through Uis to reach the Twyfelfontein region in Damaraland, a land rich in history and striking landscapes.
Explore Twyfelfontein’s ancient rock engravings, the fascinating Organ Pipes, and Burnt Mountain. Join your guide on a 4x4 excursion along the Huab River to track desert-adapted elephants, oryx, springbok, and ostrich. For a cultural experience, visit the Damara Living Museum to learn about traditional life in this remarkable region.
Optional activities include sundowner drives as well as a scenic nature drive in the ephemeral Huab River and surrounding valley, including a picnic lunch. This excursion exposes visitors to unique geological formations and the possibility of sighting the elusive desert-adapted elephants and rhinos.

After breakfast, drive east towards Khorixas stopping at the Petrified Forest en-route From Khorixas head further east along the tar road to Outjo and then north to your lodge which is situated very close to the southern entrance of Etosha, the Anderson Gate
If time permits, enter Etosha for an afternoon game drive. Depending on how often you stop today, you should arrive at your lodge in time for lunch.
On entering the park, the first stop would be Okaukuejo where you pay your entry fee (included).
It is highly suggested you pop in at the local shop to purchase some drinks and snacks and most importantly, a map of Etosha which will show you all the waterholes along the way.
Etosha is one of Africa's great game parks. With 114 species of mammal and 340 species of birds.

From one side to the other side of the park is a full day game drive as you drive slowly east stopping at numerous waterholes along the way.
Take a slow drive in the morning and ending for lunch at the Halali Resort which is half way between Okaukuejo and the eastern exit gate or take a picnic lunch along and stop off at a waterhole.
1 full day is set aside for game viewing, either all day or alternate with morning and afternoon guided drives.

After an early breakfast, check out and begin your scenic drive back to Windhoek. Enjoy the changing landscapes of Namibia one last time as you make your way to the city.
Keep in mind that you need to be at the airport 2 hours prior and Hosea Kutako International Airport is a 45 minute to 1 hour drive from town.
